100% OF ALL PROCEEDS GO TO SOUTHERNERS ON NEW GROUND (SONG).
Resist unjust laws. Resist systemic oppression. And resistance means organizing. Southerners on New Ground is an LGBTQ organization operating with a focus on intersectional politics.
Within the resistance, SONG elevates voices often ignored by a mainstream or relegated to 'affected community members.' People of color, women, trans people, rural people, immigrants and and low-income people are the architects and focus of their leadership development, intersectional analysis and organizing. Their work consistently exemplifies their values and SONG shares their community organizing resources accordingly.

Junebug and Darlin created this pattern with Southerners on New Ground in mind. It is my hope that this cross stitch call to action will remind you to find new methods of resistance whenever you see your framed work in the office or at home.
I am happy to donate 100% of the proceeds from this PDF download to Southerners on New Ground, and I encourage you to check out their website.

I love Junebug and Darlin! I stitch quite frequently, and this kit was a fun little piece. I am decorating an apartment so I wanted some black and white pieces to hang, and I decided to buy both this and another of their proceed donation kits.

It's an fun piece and it's going to a good cause-- it's a win win!
