Eco-Friendly Packaging

These floss bobbins are handmade in Portland, Oregon with care by Snowmade. Embellished with hand-drawn designs and painted with fun colors these high quality birchwood bobbins are truly special. The package includes 5 unique designs, making them a beautiful AND useful tool for any crafting enthusiast. Engraved wood gives them a super special, one-of-a-kind look.

Use the hole at the top of the bobbins to hold pre-cut floss, or to attach each bobbin to a binder ring to hold them together.

The back of each bobbin is unpainted birchwood and perfect for writing DMC colors as needed. I recommend writing the colors in pencil so it can be erased and rewritten when used again. Stickers can also be placed on the back and replaced as needed.

Bobbins are 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" with slits large enough to hold floss ends of 6 strand DMC floss.  Each bobbin is laser-engraved hand-painted 1/8" birchwood.

The photos are examples of the possible combinations of colors you will receive. All packages will be shipped at random. Floss is not included. Clear packaging is made from plants and is commercially compostable.

Love the colors and designs.

Love the colors and designs. They work great and don't snag the thread. I've never thought of using the hole for in progress thread. Fantastic idea.
